Companies with the most cash

Cash and cash equivalents is money available immediately at the balance-sheet date. It excludes short-term investments, which many large companies hold far more of. Figures are for fiscal year 2025 and are read directly from each company's SEC filings; the source column on every row links to the document.

Ranks 1–100 of 2832 · Fiscal year 2025 · Data as of September 25, 2026

For banks and brokers, cash and equivalents includes reserves held at central banks and balances funded by customer deposits. It is cash on the balance sheet, but it is not a corporate cash reserve in the sense an industrial company's is — the two are not comparable, even though both are reported under the same line.

Citigroup (C) tops the list with $350B in cash for fiscal 2025, ahead of Barclays ($345B) and JPMorgan Chase ($343B). The top 10 together report $2.29T in cash; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×3.13. 2832 SEC filers report cash; the list shows the top 100. The last place on the list, CVS Health, comes in at $8.5B.
