For banks and brokers, cash and equivalents includes reserves held at central banks and balances funded by customer deposits. It is cash on the balance sheet, but it is not a corporate cash reserve in the sense an industrial company's is — the two are not comparable, even though both are reported under the same line.

Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD) tops the list with $11.6B in cash for fiscal 2025, ahead of Procter & Gamble ($10.8B) and Coca Cola ($10.3B). The top 10 together report $70.1B in cash; the gap between #1 and #10 is ×2.60. 111 companies in Consumer staples report cash, 3.9% of the 2832-filer universe. The last place on the list, Ispire Technology, comes in at $17.6M.
